The air was thick with anticipation and anxiety after what happened on October 7th, 2023. To avoid the impact of this heavy situation on our young child Isaac who was 7-year-old and understandably distressed, we presented him with a creative challenge: to capture his cherished memories of our summer adventure in Israel through drawings and stories.

And so, this book was born. It’s a vibrant journey through Isaac’s eyes, from the bustling beaches of Tel Aviv to the ancient wonders of Jerusalem. He recounts his culinary escapades, the fascinating people he met, and the sights and sounds that painted his summer with unforgettable hues. But this isn’t just a children’s book.
